3 lady speed stick
3 speed stick
2 reach dental floss
5 packs of gum
2 coffee mate creamer
3 suave conditioner
2 Old Spice Body Wash
1 Dove Shampoo

So this is where I bought the items and what I paid. Last week, Rite Aid had a deal on Huggies diapers. If you spent $30 or more on on "Kimberly Clark" products, you would get $10 in "Up Rewards" which is money given to you to spend at Rite Aid. I bought 5 packs of Huggies diapers (i bought size 4, 31 count per package). They were on sale for $8.99 a piece. I had five $2.00 of 1 package of Huggies coupons and when I went to Rite Aid, they also had that little red box in the aisle that dispenses coupons and there were three left at $1.50 off Huggies. Right off the bat, I have $14.50 off of my purchase in coupons. I bought 5 packs of Huggies Diapers for $34.00 and got a $10 coupon in Up Rewards. That $10 is what I will use towards what I purchased this weekend.

I also did some purchases last week that resulted in me obtaining $6.99 in extra bucks at CVS and $11.00 in Walgreen money so my basic goal is keep rolling this money into more items each week.

My first stop was at CVS. I had a coupon from B1G1 Free for Axe body wash and a $1.00 axe product coupon. They also have a promotion right now if you spend $15.00 in Axe products, you will get $5.00 in extra bucks. I also bought 2 packs of Halls since I had two $1.00 of halls product coupons and you also receive $1.00 per  pack in extra bucks. They had Kellogs cereal on sale for $1.87 and I had a $1.00 off coupon for those as well and I bought the toothbrush because they were on sale for $2.75 with a $1.00 off coupon and you receive $2.00 in extra bucks. All the items I purchased were on sale. I am very new to this extreme couponing thing and haven't yet mastered the "separate transactions" (which I'll get into more as I learn it myself) but I used my $6.99 in extra bucks and coupons and paid out of pocket $18.97 but received $9.50 back in extra bucks so I only spent $9.47.  Once I master the separate transaction scenario, I won't even have to use out of pocket money because I can just use the extra bucks as I get them to pay for the other stuff I buy. So...$9.47 at CVS.

Next stop, Walgreens. This one I did some separate transactions. Just keep in mind, everything I bought is on sale. 4 bottles of Mott's apple juice with a Walgreens ad, $2.00 a piece. The Nature Valley granola bars were 2 for $5.00 and I had two $1.00 off 2 coupons so I bought 4 of them. I also had a B1G1 free Olay coupon so I bought the Olay facial cleanser and the Olay bar soap (2 pack) and the last items with this transaction were 2 of the deodorants which I had a coupon for $1.00 of 2. I paid $13.01 out of pocket with this order and I also used $11.00 of my register rewards toward this transaction. I received $1.00 in register rewards back after I paid.

My next transaction, was two more deodorants and 2 tubes Colgate toothpaste. I used two $1.50 off 1 colgate coupons and another $1.00 of 2 speed stick coupons. I paid $6.78 out of pocket. I received another $1.00 in register rewards and $4.00 in register rewards for the toothpaste.

My next transaction was 2 more deodorants and I used my last coupon and paid $3.30 out of pocket and got another $1.00 in register rewards.

My last Walgreens transaction I purchased 2 more skintimate shave gel with another $1.00 off coupon, Coffeemate Creamer B1G1 free with a .75 off coupon, 2 reach dental floss with 2 $1.00 off coupons and 3 packs of gum. I used the $7.00 in register rewards and paid $2.57 for everything. I also received $2.00 in register rewards from buying the floss.

My next stop was Rite Aid. I bought 2 Old Spice Body Wash on clearance for $2.49 a piece, 3 suave conditioners on clearance for .79 a piece, 1 dove shampoo on sale and with a $1.00 off coupon and two more packs of gum for $1.41 since I used my $10 in up rewards. I received $4.00 in up rewards for some reason (seriously, I can't even remember why)

I also bought two cartons of eggs and two packs of chex mix at Tops for $4.00.

Total spent: $40.54
Actual Retail Value of items purchased: $151.61

My goal is to be able to roll my up rewards or bucks from each place so that my out of pocket becomes very small. It takes planning and I need to learn as I go but I think I did pretty damn good for my first couple of weeks!

Here's a tip---many stores with take a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item!! Just check the stores coupon policy. It items are on sale and you have two coupons, that means a big savings!!

I also need to get some toilet paper today so I will be buying this at some point and paying $0. Good because we all know where toilet paper goes and I don't really feel like sending my $$$ with it.
